Our Mission

-To establish an organization of people with Indian heritage, residing in communities of Central New Jersey.

-To unify individuals and/or families of South Asian ethnic background.

-To invite those of other ethnic backgrounds who may have interest in South Asian culture to join and participate in cultural activities. 

-To help strengthen our community through events and activities that invoke cultural & social involvement.

-To involve our younger generation to community services and give something back to the community.

-Provide scholarships to Indian students in local schools by essay writing competition or some other form of educational activities in collaboration with the PTO.

-Provide support to  fire and police department and senior citizens. 

Our History

Indo-American Cultural Foundation of Central New Jersey (IACFNJ) was  established more than 20 years ago by American citizens of Indian origin living in the towns of Central Jersey. 


The purpose of the organization is to keep alive the culture, traditions and customs of India  while imbibing the best from the adopted country. 


IACFNJ organizes many community events which include Navratri Garba, Summer Picnic, India's Independence Day, Diwali Dinner, and various other cultural programs with the generous support from our local businesses, police and fire departments, school boards and township governments. 


Our commitment is to continue working hard to organize  these types of community events to keep our community involved. We've consistently grown in the last two decades, all  thanks to the helping hands of this amazing community!

Our Team

Our enthusiastic team of volunteers comes from an array of professions.  We have motivators, event experts,  creative and resourceful  thinkers, all coming together to bring a feeling of cohesiveness to the community and to help us all to become useful members of the society. 


The organization strives to keep  the Indian languages,  ceremonies,  epic stories,  and  art  alive and connected to our roots for all generations. 


We invite all central Jersey residents of Indian origin to become members of the organization and take advantage of the cultural events. We offer life memberships for individuals and families for a minimal amount of $151.
